The treatments we’ll be given in this trial, are already used for kidney disease, so their side effects are generally well-known. Your doctor will be prepared to discuss any side effects with you and help manage them.
If you choose to join, you’ll find detailed information in the full information sheet provided by our clinical trial team.
How does this clinical trial works?
Here’s what will happen if you decide to participate:
1. Consent and Health Information: First, you’ll review the study details with us, sign a consent form, and provide some general health information.
2. Random Assignment to Treatment: You’ll be randomly assigned to one of the treatment groups. Every group will receive standard kidney care, plus at least one additional treatment, which may be a tablet taken by mouth.
3.Follow-up: Our team will regularly track your health, recording information securely in our REDCap database.
4. ADR monitoring: We have a 24/7 ADR monitoring helpline to support you in case of any medical emergency or unexpected side effects.
What are the main results measured in this clinical trial?
How well the kidneys are working after 2 years of treatment.
